Fundraising

With our membership structure, one of the committee's major functions has always been to raise funds. Family treats such as Easter Toddles, community bingo nights, summer fairs and Christmas discos have allowed us to make enhancements to the care we offer. We are always keen to take on board new fundraising ideas so we welcome any input from parents/ Carers of The Ark. Recently we have been holding regular craft and coffee mornings where we invite parents and their children into the Nursery on a Saturday morning to have coffee, cake and take part in a variety of crafts. All proceeds raised on the day go back into The Ark for new exciting resources for the children and it is a great opportunity for parents to chat to our practitioners in an informal way. We have had really positive feedback from parents about these events and hope to make them a regular occurrence.
